Terry Neal
Social Services Coordinator

Terry Neal is one of three Social Services Coordinators in the Family Division.  He is assigned to Judge Wendy L. Shoob.  His primary responsibility is to coordinate community resources for the Family Division. He provides families with resources including one-to-one counseling, Guardian Ad Litem reports, and mediation.  He also works with individuals and families after cases have been finalized.  Mr. Neal received his undergraduate degree in Sociology from Florida A & M University and has done graduate work in Urban Studies at Syracuse University.   He has twenty-three years experience as an Probation Officer, during which time he investigated, counseled and supervised adult and juvenile caseloads. His employment history includes tenures with the Georgia Department of Corrections at the Fulton Diversion Center and with Court Services, Charter Behavior Health System of Atlanta at Peachford as a Mental Health Specialist from 1986 to 1998 and St. Judes Recovery Center as a part-time Resident Manager.
